# Skyzai 8.1.9 — Crisp identity, no pulsing shadows

[S] Owner direction, 2026-09-15: remove the glow or shadow from the animated
Skyzai logo and prohibit any such shadow that comes and goes in the brand guide.

## Scope

- Removed parent-seal core pulse, theme/cream/hover overrides and inline SVG
  drop shadows from the live reader. Retired the pulse duration token.
- Logos remain shadow-free in moving, inspection, pinned and still states,
  including light, dark and warm appearances. No pulsing or breathing halo.
- Preserved geometry, monochrome ink, 18-second counter-rotation, 600ms
  inspection return, pause, keyboard focus outlines and reduced-motion stills.
- Material supporting-surface elevation and separately contained page glow
  remain unchanged. Woven colour motion remains unchanged.
- Skyzai.org's shared parent-logo component receives the same correction.
  This is a local source update, not adoption by every downstream product.
- One full live guide; old bookmarks redirect directly and preserve book/hash.
  Prior source remains in Git. No artwork, palette or product claims changed.

## Acceptance

[B] Local verification on 2026-09-15:

- Skyzai.org production build and TypeScript check: PASS. Identity/outline
  regression: 7 scenarios, 142 checks, zero failures across Chromium/WebKit.
  Sampled the logo across its cycle in light, dark, both warm combinations,
  hover, pinned and reduced-motion states; counter-rotation remains verified.
- Guide structural gate: 53/53. Token audit and version/carrier alignment:
  PASS. Python regression discovery: 120 tests pass, including injected shadow,
  pulse-token, inline-filter and missing-policy regressions.
- All six local reader browser gates: PASS. Public guide checks the actual
  monochrome running seal, no SVG shadows at nine cycle samples, inspection,
  four appearances, reduced motion, forced colours and offline loading.
  Interaction and rhythm gates preserve separate semantic background motion.
  Section audit: four width/appearance cases, zero axe findings. Table reflow:
  1,176 table observations, zero affected/overflow observations, 60 keyboard
  rail checks. APU visual-language gate: 16 cases, zero failures.
- Website dark hero and guide cover screenshots inspected: crisp geometry;
  no pulsing logo shadow. The guide's constant Material backing remains.
- New guard development exposed two test defects, both corrected: the initial
  CSS matcher mistook whitespace before `animation: none` for an animation;
  the first browser guard included the backing plate's legitimate box shadow.
  Final checks distinguish the SVG mark from its supporting Material surface.
- Retiring one duration token is the only generated CSS value removal; other
  token values and native colour declarations are unchanged. Native/Mermaid
  provenance markers were regenerated, not the consuming Flutter application.
- The first commit gate caught a stale generated coverage-source hash after
  the new regression guard. Regenerated `brand.coverage.json`; only its source
  digest changed. The guard was not bypassed or relaxed.

Reports/screenshots are in sibling `qa-*` directories; website reports are in
`skyzai_org/output/playwright/identity-outline`. Projection is non-publishable
local QA output. Final receipt text and generated gate-coverage metadata were
completed after projection; reader HTML is unchanged.

[D] Existing estate adoption/consolidation holds remain. No publication,
production update, downstream estate adoption or physical-device acceptance
is claimed. The Playwright CLI wrapper remains unavailable; existing repository
Playwright runners supplied the browser checks.

## Scope and recording boundary

[S/I] Tracked starting state was clean. The two pre-existing untracked surfaces
(branding/output and the Agentz tombstone) remain outside the owned pathset.
This bounded source correction and its mechanical version carriers form one
coherent change; additional candidate/intake stations would not alter that
owner-directed pathset. Independent read-only L3 review identified the theme,
inline and hover variants before mutation; L4 is the sole mutator.

The inherited frozen-v0 recorder HOLD remains untouched; no full event-writer
run is claimed. Local commit, browser acceptance, estate adoption and deployment
remain separate states. No push, provider change or native-app adoption included.
