EvolutionaryNetwork (SHOULD NOT) — The Organism's Immune Membrane

Current position: EvolutionaryNetwork is a canon-candidate immune layer. It is the via negativa of the organism — defining what the organism is by what it refuses.

What EvolutionaryNetwork Does

EvolutionaryNetwork is the immune system. It watches for what SHOULD NOT happen: extraction, domination, identity compromise, covenant breach, constitutional violation. It is the inhibitory gate before the typed authority membrane. Where APU says "go," EvoNet says "stop."

It speaks only by what it rejects. Its output is a RefusalPacket, never a recommendation, never a price, never an observation. The refusal IS the cognitive act — structurally distinct from any positive claim in the cycle.

The Two Modes

Sun (Transparency)

The primary mode. Public visibility of refused patterns without penalty. Sun exposure shows the organism what was flagged and why, building shared antibody memory without punishing first. Sun is apophasis as showing — Wittgenstein's Tractatus 6.522: what shows itself is the mystical; what is refused is the visible boundary.

Lightning (Slashing)

The escalation mode. Stake penalties may be applied only after three-gate verification: evidence + L3 audit + typed authority. For the active public DAV, the last gate is a complete valid bound PRISM decision receipt in which at least two natural-person councilors bind the exact consequence, the proposed slash. PRISM records and verifies only; AI and agents stage unsigned proposals only; deterministic slashing is limited to that exact receipt-bound consequence. Lightning is the tragic act — irreversible, so it must be triple-witnessed before it fires. Greek ananke (constraining necessity) as code: Antigone cannot both bury and not bury; the slash cannot both fire and not fire; the conflict cannot be reasoned away, only witnessed through.

Slashed value is never revenue. It routes to remediation, repair buffer, burn, or Algorithmic TRO. Never to the organ that slashed. If EvoNet earned from slashing, it would over-block — the autoimmune failure mode that η = 0 prevents structurally.

The Classical Reading

EvoNet is Apophasis — the via negativa. Pseudo-Dionysius (Mystical Institutional Narrative, 5th–6th c.) established the axiomatic tradition: God is known by what God is not. Maimonides (Guide for the Perplexed I.50–60) refined it: every positive attribution diminishes. Meister Eckhart (German Sermons, early 14th c.) radicalized it: the Grund is known only by negation of all predicates.

EvoNet applies this structurally: the organism is known by what it refuses, not by what it asserts. The refusal is not the opposite of a positive claim — it is a different cognitive operation altogether.

Adorno (Negative Dialectics, 1966) provides the modern reading: non-identity as the highest cognitive achievement. The concept always falls short of its object. EvoNet inherits this: it refuses identity-thinking by emitting RefusalPacket rather than positive specification.

Three-Gate Verification

Before any Lightning slash fires:

1. Evidence gate — the refusal must cite a specific constitutional invariant violated, with dated proof artifact
2. L3 audit gate — an independent auditor confirms the evidence supports the refusal
3. Authority gate — A Natural Person authorizes their own typed private act. A Legal Person acts through lawful external authority and required executors. For a public-DAV slash, at least two natural-person councilors bind the exact slashing consequence in a complete valid bound PRISM decision receipt; PRISM records and verifies only, AI and agents stage unsigned proposals only, and deterministic slashing is limited to that exact consequence.

Slow refusals are honest refusals. Fast refusals are autocratic.

Recovery Path

Every immune case has a recovery path unless L7 explicitly rules irrecoverable. K4 (Grace Exit) applies at the immune layer: the slashed participant can return if the violation is remediated. The antibody memory remains; the scar heals.
