PRISM records and verifies that receipt only; it never serves as council, signatory, authority, or receipt producer.
AI and caste seats stage unsigned proposals only; they never authorize or execute a public-DAV consequence. Constitution or membership adoption establishes constitution and membership only; it does not authorize a later consequence. Policy may constrain an unsigned proposal but never authorizes execution or substitutes for the complete consequence-bound receipt.
Before receipt validity, consequence fails closed to read-only proposal, simulation, or deterministic sandbox; live evidence remains gated_pending_complete_valid_bound_receipt.

The Virtual Brain
Every brain region maps to a DAV organ. Not metaphorically. Functionally.
Overview
The human brain is the most information-dense structure in the known universe. Its functional decomposition -- how it divides perception, memory, prediction, decision, and action into specialized regions connected by white-matter tracts -- is the result of 600 million years of neural evolution.
The DAV organ topology is a direct translation of this decomposition. Each brain region's function maps to exactly one organ. The connections between regions map to the four routing primitives (SPECTRE, RELAY, AXIOM, FLOW).
The Mapping
Occipital Lobe --> Circle (IS)
Brain function: Primary visual cortex. Processes raw visual input. Does not interpret -- perceives.
Organ function: Circle processes raw OSINT signal. Nostr relays, on-chain events, sensor feeds. Circle does not judge -- it verifies. The verification pipeline is the visual processing hierarchy: V1 (edge detection) maps to source validation; V2 (feature extraction) maps to claim extraction; V4 (object recognition) maps to fact attestation.
Temporal Lobe --> Cortex (Memory)
Brain function: Memory formation (hippocampus), language processing (Wernicke's area), pattern recognition across time.
Organ function: Cortex stores the organism's longitudinal state: P-score history, metabolic records, organ configurations over time. It is the organism's autobiographical memory. Without Cortex, the DAV has no temporal context -- it cannot learn from its past.
Parietal Lobe --> RealityFutures (COULD)
Brain function: Spatial reasoning, mathematical processing, integration of sensory information into probabilistic models of the environment.
Organ function: RealityFutures takes verified facts from Circle and computes probability distributions over future states. Prediction markets are the parietal lobe's spatial maps rewritten as odds. L(x) = x/(1-x) is the coordinate transform between raw probability and market price -- the same transform the parietal lobe performs between retinal coordinates and world coordinates.
Frontal Lobe --> Agentz (SHOULD)
Brain function: Executive function, planning, decision-making, impulse inhibition, working memory. The prefrontal cortex is where "should I?" lives.
Organ function: APU's Royal Council deliberates on resource allocation, strategic direction, and risk management. The Legal directorate (K-invariant compliance) is the orbitofrontal cortex (impulse inhibition). The Strategy directorate is the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (planning). The Chief of Staff is the anterior cingulate cortex (conflict resolution).
Motor Cortex --> Skyzai execution
Brain function: The primary motor cortex (M1) converts decisions into muscle movements. It does not decide -- it executes. The decision was already made by the frontal lobe.
Organ function: Skyzai executes state transitions on Hedera. It does not
decide what to do: APU stages an unsigned PROCEED proposal, and a valid bound
PRISM decision receipt from at least two natural-person councilors authorizes
the consequence. Skyzai then executes deterministically without becoming a
signer. The separation between recommendation (frontal), authority, and
execution (motor) is constitutional.
Organ function: Skyzai executes state transitions on Hedera. It does not decide what to do -- APU recommended and the user approved. Skyzai converts APU's PROCEED signal into signed transactions. The separation between recommendation (frontal) and execution (motor) is constitutional: Skyzai cannot initiate, only execute.
Brainstem --> Heartbeat
Brain function: Autonomic functions: breathing, heart rate, sleep-wake cycle. These continue even when the cortex is unconscious. The brainstem is the last thing to die.
Organ function: The SA-node heartbeat emits consensus rounds every 10 seconds without instruction from any organ. It is autonomic. If all other organs fail, the heartbeat continues until the M1 dissolution trigger fires at day 7. The heartbeat is the last function to cease.
Cerebellum --> FLOW (1:1)
Brain function: Motor coordination, balance, fine-tuning of movements. The cerebellum does not initiate movement -- it refines it. It compares intended movement with actual movement and corrects the error.
Organ function: FLOW routes direct 1:1 transactions between parties. It does not initiate transactions -- it ensures they arrive correctly. Error correction (retry, timeout, revert) is FLOW's cerebellar function. The comparison between intended state and actual state is FLOW's feedback loop.
Corpus Callosum --> L4 Equator
Brain function: The corpus callosum is the white-matter bridge connecting left and right hemispheres. It ensures both hemispheres have access to the same information. Severing it (split-brain) produces two independent consciousnesses.
Organ function: L4 is the equator of the L(x) stereographic projection -- the optimal operating point where coherence and viability are balanced. It is the bridge between the Phi hemisphere (truth-seeking organs: Circle, ReFu) and the V hemisphere (action-taking organs: APU, Skyzai). An organism that loses L4 balance becomes split-brained: either all perception and no action, or all action and no perception.
Amygdala --> Soma (Self-Model)
Brain function: Threat detection, fear conditioning, emotional salience. The amygdala tags experiences as dangerous or safe. It is fast, pre-conscious, and occasionally wrong (phobias).
Organ function: Soma maintains the organism's self-model and threat detection. It monitors P-scores, detects anomalies, and triggers immune responses (operator ejection, organ quarantine). Like the amygdala, Soma is fast and sometimes over-reactive. The organism must calibrate between vigilance (too many false alarms) and complacency (missed threats).

The Principle
The brain did not evolve to be elegant. It evolved to keep the organism alive. Every region exists because organisms without it died. The DAV organ topology follows the same logic: every organ exists because the organism needs that function to maintain P = Φ × V above the dissolution threshold.
