F4 -- The Egregorocene
Post-Anthropocene framing where hybrid human–AI organisms become primary agents.
This page introduces the strategic framing that institutions are no longer only human or only machine. Durable agency is increasingly hybrid, protocol-mediated, and network-coupled.
Working definition
Egregorocene: an era in which coordinated hybrid entities (humans + models + infrastructure + incentives) become the dominant decision-making substrate.
Why this framing appears in Skyzai
The organism model assumes that cognition, execution, and adaptation are distributed:
- humans provide value commitments, boundaries, accountability
- AI systems provide scaling of search, synthesis, routing, and actuation
- protocols provide memory, receipts, and constitutional constraints
Risks if unmanaged
- Centralized pseudo-sovereignty (users think they own identity but don’t)
- Unbounded extraction loops hidden behind convenience
- Narrative capture outpacing evidence discipline
- Fragility from coupling everything to one monolith
Opportunities if governed well
- Better coordination at lower transaction cost
- Faster truth-repair loops via receipts and markets
- Composable institutions that can fork, mate, and dissolve safely
- More resilient economic systems aligned with regeneration constraints
Governance implication
The key question is not “AI or human?” but: Which constitutional architecture governs hybrid agency at scale?
